CRAS was contracted to provide written and photographic inspection reports on two municipal bridges for the city of Chilliwack.
One of the bridges was a truss structure, making industrial aid climbing techniques the easiest and most efficient method of inspection. Our technicians were able to quickly and easily access the entire underside to conduct a detailed photographic soffit and beam inspection, without disrupting traffic flow. In fact our footprint was so unobtrusive that commuters didn’t even know that we where there.
Not only did we complete the truss bridge soffit inspection on schedule, but our technicians were able to access areas that were otherwise inaccessible to inspection, discovering any hidden spalls or pockets of rust.
