Canadian Rope Access Specialists Inc. is a Canadian owned company incorporated in early 2007. We are located in North Vancouver British Columbia and our certified technicians have worked in Canada, New Zealand and Australia on high profile projects like Science world, The eye of the wind, the CN tower, BC Hydro Penstocks and dams, BC Place, and Niagara Falls.
Our Rope Access Specialists are trained and qualified by SPRAT and are qualified at all levels. We comply with the industries strict requirements for Safety, Quality, Training, and Work Practices and carry full insurance.
Our technicians are highly trained and experienced, undergoing a strict selection process prior to taking their place as part of our team. Teams are selected according to work scope requirements and specific job skills. They are supported by a comprehensive range of industrial safety and rope access equipment.
We use back-up fall arrest systems to eliminate danger in the unlikely event of our primary means of support fail. All teams hold current First Aid certificates and have emergency training.

Chris has a passion for Rope Access and has over 15 years experience working in highly trained teams and on individual projects. Chris is a SPRAT Level 3 Technician. Canadian Rope Access Specialists are a full member of SPRAT . Chris is also trained IDLH technical confined space rescue
Hobbies
Chris is well versed in rope oriented skill such as rock climbing, wall climbing, mountaineering and sailing giving him an extensive background and experience in rope access tactics and knowledge.

Manager/First Aid: Greg Korpela

When he is not working for CRAS Greg works part time as a Paramedic with the BC Ambulance Service. He has an extensive First Aid background and also holds a level 2 SPRAT certification and certification in IDLH Confined Space Rescue.
